MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Nova Southeastern men and women's swim teams picked up their second-straight Sunshine State Conference win in dominating fashion on Saturday afternoon as both teams topped host Florida Tech by at least 85 points at the Panther Aquatic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
TOP INDIVIDUAL PERFORMERS:
- In the 1000 freestyle, Bernardo Abascal earned his first win of the season in 9:53.79.
- Vincent Lijoi picked up his first win of the day in the 200 freestyle, finishing in 1:45.02, going on to win the men's 500 freestyle in 4:44.19.
- Wright also earned two individual wins on the day, taking the top spot in the 50 free in 24.61 before winning the 100 backstroke in 56.49.
- Yanello picked up two wins, as well, finishing ahead of the pack in the 50 free and the 100 free in 21.50 and 47.84, respectively.
- Maslova and Alessandro Xella completed the 200 IM event sweep in 2:07.28 and 1:54.45, respectively, while Maslova and Poulsen also picked up back-to-back wins for the Sharks in the 100 butterfly, winning in 56.57 and 49.44, respectively.
- Johns claimed her lone individual win of the day in the 100 free, posting a time of 53.44, while Averchenko also had his only individual win in the men's 100 backstroke with a time of 52.04.
- Sundstedt earned her third-consecutive win in the 500 freestyle in 5:15.52.
- NSU also earned two wins in the 200 breaststroke, as Friel won in 1:06.76 and Xella won in 58.60.

The Sharks will return to the NSU Aquatic Center to host the 10th-Annual Shark Invitational, starting on Friday, Oct. 11 at 5:00 p.m.
